Tuition Centre Manager
Roles & Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for the design, set-up and overall administration, management, and success of a new tuition centre, offering 4 primary school subjects. This role will involve working with the owner/directors to set up and design the tuition centre services, and overseeing daily operations, staff management, student relations, and curriculum planning to ensure a dynamic and conducive learning environment. The candidate will report to the owner/directors and play a vital role in in achieving success and a positive reputation for the tuition centre within the community.
The Tuition Centre Manager plays a crucial role in shaping the tuition centre and educational experience of students and in maintaining the tuition centre’s success and reputation. This position requires a combination of managerial expertise, educational knowledge, and a genuine commitment to student success.
Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the tuition centre.
- Ensure that all administrative tasks, such as scheduling, attendance tracking, and record-keeping, are carried out accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe learning environment for students and staff.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise teaching staff and administrative personnel.
- Provide ongoing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure staff members deliver high-quality education and excellent customer service.
- Address staff concerns and promote a positive and dynamic team culture.
Curriculum Development:
- Collaborate with teaching staff to design and refine curriculum plans that align with educational standards and students’ needs.
- Monitor the effectiveness of teaching materials and methods and make necessary adjustments to enhance learning outcomes.
Student Relations:
- Interact with students and parents to understand their needs, concerns, and feedback.
- Address any academic or behavioural issues promptly and effectively, while maintaining open communication with all stakeholders.
- Create a positive and dynamic learning environment that fosters student engagement and motivation.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Develop and implement proven marketing strategies to attract new students and retain existing ones.
- Participate in community events, networking, and partnerships to increase the visibility and credibility of the tuition centre.
Financial Management:
- Manage the tuition centre’s budget, including expenses, revenues, and financial projections.
Ensure timely and accurate billing and collection of tuition fees.
Quality Assurance:
- Monitor student progress and academic performance through assessments, tests, and regular evaluations.
- Implement improvement strategies based on data analysis to enhance teaching methods and student outcomes.
Compliance and Regulations:
- Ensure the tuition centre operates in compliance with local education laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate student records and reports for regulatory purposes.
Professional Development:
- Stay updated on educational trends, teaching methodologies, and advancements in the field.
- Encourage and support staff in their professional growth through training and development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree (Any discipline)
- Previous experience in education, management, administration, or a related role is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organisation skills and the ability to multi-task.
